Budafest is a metro-festival that takes place in the centre of Budapest over multiple venues.
We use interesting spaces and buildings to give you an experience which embraces the essence of the city.
We leave you time to explore the city by day and party by night.
You can also stay with us in official hostel accommodation.
Ruin bars, thermal spas, concert halls and thousand capacity boat parties distinguish Budafest as a completely unique experience.
*Make sure to arrive early to see your favourite acts to ensure you get in - the most popular venues always fill up.
We scoured this beautiful city leaving no rock unturned to make an itinerary formed of the most intriguing, impressive and downright wondrous places to play host to our metro-festival.
A converted ruin bar with an open air atrium and probably the coolest VIP area in Budapest. Otkert is a couple minutes walk away from the colossal Chain Bridge.
One of the cities most credible concert halls, located under a giant glass ceiling with a water feature above in the main square. Akvarium brings the festival vibes on it’s huge outdoor terrace which also plays host to our main check in desk.
One of the biggest and most visually impressive thermal spa’s in Europe is transformed into a party haven...
Take time to explore one of the most beautiful cities in the world, or absorb the views while you get wavey on one of our epic boat parties or pub crawls.

There is literally nothing better then chilling in the thermal baths, lazing in the sunshine and hitting the sauna and steam rooms to rid you of your hangover.
The Spa is open for business as usual during the day (no sparty) and is a favourite oasis for our guests.
When you’re in one of the most beautiful cities in the world it would be rude not to explore.
From the mighty architecture to the parks and spas, Budapest is a truly wondrous place.
All of our venues are within walking distance of each other in the centre of Budapest. Even the baths are walkable, taking around 30 mins.
Public transport is cheap and easy to navigate, although we DO NOT recommend using taxis as many are so called ‘gypsy’ cabs which will charge you 3 or 4 times more than they should.
Our guides are on hand throughout the day at popular locations and hostels to make sure you get the most out of your trip.
Most people choose to stay with our official hostel partners in order to be with other festival guests. We’ve also managed to check these hostels out in advance and give them the thumbs up.
Hostels sleep between 2 and 10 people in shared dormitories.
